Sugar free and high protein triple chocolate brownies — keto, vegan, paleo, gluten free, and low carb! These fudgy flourless brownies are so healthy, tasty, and easy to make. They’re made with avocado and almond flour and can be sweetened with protein powder or any other granulated sweetener like monk fruit or coconut sugar. I used Organifi chocolate protein powder (code RUTHANNE for 15% off) in my recipe!
Ingredients:
1 cup almond flour (see notes)
1/2 cup chocolate protein powder or 1/2 cup granulated sweetener of choice like monk fruit or coconut sugar
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 cup unsweetened milk of choice (see notes)
1 large, ripe avocado (just the flesh)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup chocolate chips
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350° and line a small baking dish with parchment paper (or simply spray it with cooking spray – I used an 7×6 inch dish).
Add all of your ingredients (except the chocolate chips) to a high speed blender or food processor and blend/process until smooth. Or beat your ingredients together in a stand mixer (be careful about the ingredients splashing out!).
Stir in your chocolate chips by hand.
Transfer your batter to your prepared baking dish and bake for 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out fairly clean.
Let your brownies cool before slicing and serving. I recommend refrigerating the brownies before serving (this helps them stay together). They should be rich and fudgy!
Keep refrigerated for up to five days or freeze for long term storage.
Serve with whipped cream, fresh berries and drizzled nut butter for best results!
Recipe Notes:
If you use a granulated sweetener instead of protein powder, add an additional 1/4 cup almond flour to the recipe.
If you use protein powder in this recipe, you may need to add an additional 1/4 cup of milk to thin out the batter (depending on your protein powder you use).
To keep the recipe sugar free, use protein powder or monk fruit in this recipe and sugar free chocolate chips (like Lily’s).
