Pumpkin spice turmeric latte! Have you guys ever tried turmeric? Turmeric is a spice well known for its medicinal benefits. It’s anti-inflammatory, high in antioxidants, and is known to help lower your risk of heart disease. It’s a wonderful superfood that makes food look and taste delicious! Turmeric lattes are all the rage right now (also know as Golden Milk Lattes). I had never had one until recently and they’re so good! I dressed up my turmeric latte by making it PUMPKIN SPICE and I loved it. You have to try this out!
Ingredients:
1 cup milk of choice (I used almond)
2 TBS honey or maple syrup (or try stevia to keep it sugar free!)
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 TBS pumpkin puree
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/8 tsp ginger
1/8 tsp nutmeg
Directions:
Heat milk in a small saucepan over low heat.
Add sweetener of choice, pumpkin purée and spices and whisk until smooth.
Pour into a mug and top with coconut whipped cream and sprinkle with turmeric/pumpkin pie spice.

Variation Ideas:
omit the pumpkin purée and pumpkin spice if you want a typical turmeric latte
omit the turmeric for a plain pumpkin spice milk latte (just add 1 extra TBS pumpkin purée)
omit the pumpkin purée/pumpkin spice and turmeric for a cozy and warm spiced milk rink
