Ingredients:
1 cup milk of choice
3 TBS cocoa powder
1-2 TBS honey or maple syrup (or try a few drops of liquid stevia to keep it sugar free/keto)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
Directions:
Heat milk in the microwave or on the stovetop until hot and gently stir in cocoa powder, sweetener of choice and vanilla. Stir until well combined.
Froth with a hand frother to make it foamy (optional, I used my Zulay Kitchen hand frother).
Top with whipped cream and cacao powder!
Recipe Variations:
Try melting 1/2 oz of your favorite dark chocolate bar into the milk instead of using cocoa powder or cacao. Omit the sweetener.
Try melting 1/2 oz of Lily’s Sweets stevia sweetened chocolate bar for a sugar free hot cocoa option! Omit both the cocoa powder and sweetener.
