Homemade CBD Gummies!

Homemade CBD Gummies – CBD optional! Paleo, gluten free, dairy free and refined sugar free, these homemade gummies are the perfect healthy treat (kid & adult friendly!). Packed full of fresh fruit and grass fed beef gelatin, they’re full of natural vitamins and minerals, as well as protein! Add a little bit of CBD or CBN and you’ve got a delicious treat that will help you sleep better and feel calmer throughout the day.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup 100% fruit juice of choice (I used mango juice)

  • 1 cup fresh fruit of choice, diced (I used fresh mango)

  • 1/4 cup + 2 TBS grass fed beef gelatin

  • 1-2 TBS maple syrup or honey (optional)

Directions:

  1. In a small blender, blend together fruit juice and fresh fruit until you have a smooth fruit mixture.

  2. In a medium sized pot, heat your fruit mixture over low/medium heat until it begins to bubble.

  3. Add your beef gelatin (and sweetener, if using) to your fruit mixture and whisk well until smooth.

  4. Remove mixture from the heat and let cool for 2-3 minutes.

  5. After 2-3 minutes, add 100mg CBD and mix well (this step is optional).

  6. Pour your gummy mixture slowly into your gummy molds of choice (I used mini gummy bear molds from Amazon).

  7. Refrigerate gummies for 30-60 minutes, until set.

  8. Remove gummies from the molds and enjoy! Keep gummies in the fridge for 1-2 weeks. Serves 8.

Notes:

  • the honey/maple syrup is optional. I didn’t use it because my mixture was sweet enough with it it. If you don’t use super sweet fruit like mango, you may want to add it in!

  • consult your healthcare practitioner before consuming CBD or CBN!
