6 ingredient snickers bars! Vegan, gluten free, paleo, grain free, low carb, keto, and sugar free friendly! These snickers bars are so tasty and so easy to make and they require only 6 ingredients! See sugar free/keto recipe notes below the recipe.
Crust Ingredients:
1 cup almond flour
3 TBS maple syrup, honey or date syrup
1/4 tsp salt
Caramel Ingredients:
1/3 cup peanut butter
3 TBS maple syrup, honey or date syrup
Topping Ingredients:
Peanuts
2/3 cup chocolate chips
1 TBS coconut oil
Instructions:
In a medium sized bowl mix together your crust ingredients until thoroughly combined.
Add your mixture to the bottom of a loaf pan lined with parchment paper and press it down with parchment paper to form a crust.
Next, mix together your caramel ingredients in a small dish.
Spread your caramel layer over your crust until smooth.
Sprinkle peanuts on top of your caramel layer, gently press them down, and then place the loaf pan in the freezer.
After several hours, remove your loaf pan from the freezer.
Remove your dessert from the loaf pan and slice it into 6-8 evenly sized bars.
Next, melt together 2/3 cup chocolate chips and 1 TBS coconut oil (on the stovetop or in the microwave).
Carefully coat each bar in melted chocolate and place them on a plate or tray lined with parchment paper.
Refrigerate or freeze your snickers bars until hardened. Enjoy straight from the fridge or freezer!
Recipe Notes:
Feel free to use sugar free maple syrup and sugar free chocolate in this recipe to keep it sugar free!
You can substitute whatever nuts and nut butter your prefer if you don’t like peanuts.
