7 Ingredient Healthy Power Balls! Vegan, gluten free and sugar free friendly, these power balls are the perfect breakfast, snack or healthy treat! I like to make a big batch of these all at once and store them in the freezer for a couple of months. I just grab a couple of balls straight from the freezer whenever I need them! Recipe makes 12 balls.
Ingredients:
1 cup rolled/old fashioned oats
1/2 cup nut butter of choice
1/4 cup honey or pure maple syrup (try sugar free maple syrup to keep it sugar free)
1/4 cup chia seeds
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup chocolate chips
Directions:
Combine your nut butter, sweetener, vanilla and salt in a large bowl and mix until smooth.
Add in your oats, chocolate chips and chia seeds and stir until fully mixed.
Form your mixture into little balls and place on a dish/tray lined with wax or parchment paper.
Refrigerate or freeze power balls for an hour until firm.
Store in tupperware of choice or in a ziplock baggie in the fridge for a week or in the freezer for 2-3 months!
Enjoy straight from the fridge/freezer!
Recipe Notes:
Feel free to add 1 TBS cocoa powder to the recipe for a double chocolate version! Add another TBS of nut butter to the recipe if you do!
