Cake batter protein smoothie to celebrate my 25th birthday! Vegan, paleo, gluten free, dairy free and refined sugar free — what’s not to love? Tuesday the 19th was my birthday and I celebrated with one of my favorite flavors — cake batter! This cake batter protein smoothie is delicious, nutritious and so festive.
If you’re game to try it, here’s the recipe!
Cake Batter Protein Smoothie/Shake
1/3 cup full fat coconut milk
1 cup plant based milk
1 frozen banana
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1 tsp cake batter extract
Punch of sea salt
2 TBS honey (optional — if your protein powder is unsweetened)
Blend all your ingredients in a high speed blender until smooth and creamy.
Pour into a glass and top with coconut whipped cream and sprinkles.
